Rebates That Require A Home Energy Assessment
To qualify for rebates, start with an initial home energy assessment conducted by a registered energy advisor. They will identify energy-saving opportunities in your home. Then complete at least two of the following energy-saving upgrades to qualify for rebates.

After successfully completing the program, you’ll receive a $600 rebate to help cover the cost of the initial and follow-up assessments.
Are You Eligible?
- You must own your home. Eligible housing types include single and semi-detached houses, row/townhomes, and mobile homes on a permanent foundation.
- You must be an Enbridge Gas customer with an active account and primarily heat your home with a natural gas furnace or boiler, OR you must be connected to the Ontario electricity grid and heat your home electrically.
- Specific rebates may have additional terms and conditions.
How To Get Your Rebates
1. BOOK AN ASSESSMENT
Before starting any work, schedule an initial home energy assessment with a certified energy advisor from an approved Service Organization. Use the form below to get a list.
2. RECEIVE A CUSTOM REPORT
Review the recommended upgrades for your home and select at least two to proceed with.
3. COMPLETE 2+ UPGRADES
Contact CK Mechanical to perform the necessary upgrades.
4. BOOK A FOLLOW-UP ASSESSMENT
Once the upgrades are finished, schedule a final assessment with the same certified energy advisor.
5. GET YOUR REBATES
Your rebates will be processed and sent after your energy advisor submits all required paperwork.

Are You Eligible?
- You must own the home where the heat pump will be installed (property owners must apply for tenant-occupied homes).
- You must have an active Enbridge Gas account and primarily heat your home with natural gas, or be connected to the Ontario electricity grid and heat your home electrically.
- You must live in a single detached, semi-detached, row house, townhome, or mobile home on a permanent foundation.
- Note: New build homes (occupied for six months or less) are not eligible.

ADDITIONAL REBATES
Save on Energy Peak Perks™ Program
The Peak Perks™ program is a Save on Energy initiative designed to reward Ontario residents and small businesses for reducing their electricity usage during peak demand periods in the summer. By enrolling in Peak Perks™, participants receive a $75 virtual prepaid Mastercard® and an additional $20 virtual prepaid Mastercard® each year they remain in the program. The program utilizes smart thermostats to automatically make brief, small temperature adjustments (no more than two degrees Celsius) during peak demand events, which occur on weekdays for up to three hours, up to ten times between June and September. Participants are notified before each event and can easily opt out at any time via their thermostat provider’s app or by manually adjusting their thermostat. The thermostat will also pre-cool the space slightly before an event to maintain comfort levels, and will return to its original setting once the event concludes.
Save on Energy Retrofit Program
The Save on Energy Retrofit Program helps businesses upgrade to more energy-efficient equipment, reducing energy bills and their carbon footprint while improving staff comfort. The program offers financial incentives through two main streams: the Custom Stream for larger, complex projects tailored to specific operating conditions, and the Prescriptive Stream for common equipment upgrades like lighting, HVAC, and manufacturing equipment. Incentives are also available for greenhouse lighting upgrades and solar photovoltaic distributed energy resources. Eligible participants include owners or lessees (with owner consent) of commercial, industrial, institutional, multi-family, and agricultural facilities. Eligible projects must demonstrate measurable and verifiable reductions in peak electricity demand and consumption, and examples include network lighting controls, HVAC redesigns, chiller replacements, and custom equipment retrofits. Businesses can contact a Save on Energy representative to determine how the Retrofit Program can best meet their needs
